Senate Passes Freeze on Medicare Cuts

$138 Billion Bill Approved

The Senate voted 62-36 to approve a $138 billion bill that would temporarily prevent Medicare payment cuts to doctors. H.R. 4213 extends the freeze until Sept. 30, 2010.
